Shrek Jr. is an adaptation of the Broadway musical Shrek the Musical. Based on the 2001 DreamWorks Animation film Shrek and William Steig’s 1990 book Shrek!, the musical is a part romance and part twisted fairy tale that delivers a humorous and heartwarming story for the whole family.
