City of Ashland Parks
The City of Ashland Parks & Recreation Department manages 360 acres of developed and undeveloped open spaces that include parks, natural habitats, and facilities such as a band shell, basketball courts, horseshoes, miniature golf, hiking trails, playground equipment, shuffleboard, Pickleball courts, soccer fields, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, a municipal golf course and pavilions.
Ashland County Parks District
Today, the Ashland County Park District proudly manages several beautiful parks, 17 ponds, over 30 miles of hiking trails, totaling over 2,400 acres of land. The ACPD prides itself on almost 20 years of serving the community with the best parks and trails. From the modest beginnings to the recent times of rapid growth, the goal remains to offer places and opportunities for the entire family to enjoy.
